TITANIC THE EPIC MOVIE

1997 American epic romantic disaster film  Titanic was directed by James Cameron. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet belonged to different social classes. The fate of the Titanic was ill when it sank in the sea due to hitting an Iceberg.  The Titanic was began in 1995 and was funded by Paramount pictures. It was the most expensive film of that year made with the budget of $200 million..

Storyline and Plot

Rose Dawson Calvert, the woman in the drawing was brought to tell her story about her survivor experiences of Titanic. She said she wanted t commit suicide by jumping from the ship. Jack was an ordinary guy who was struggling to make a name who called her from the back and convinced her to live. After that she became friends with him and she invited him to the dinner party. He met her father and mother. Then she took jack into her room and he made her picture.

The ship began to sink when it had hit the iceberg at night. The captain and the crew did not knew there was danger ahead. They just found out the emergency when the iceberg was really close. The water came into lower part then the middle part of the ship simply causing it to break into two pieces. Meanwhile jack was accused of being called a thief when the Rose’s necklace was put inside his pocket. The guards had hide the Jack and tied him. He was left to die in the sinking ship when they all betrayed him.

Jack cried for Rose and Rose also cried for his love. They both found each other when Rose finally refused to go out with the rescued women and children in the lifeboat. She jumped back into the ship for Jack and  found him into the lower chamber which was completely sunk. After having a lot of obstacles, Rose and Jack returned to the deck. The lifeboats were no more and the passengers had started dying. Jack and rose also jumped into the ice cold water and held on the to wooden panel. But the room was enough for one person so jack gave his life by freezing to death for Rose to save her and took a promise from her that she would die an old lady.

Then Rose returned back to America and told her story to the world a lot of decades later.

Awards and the ship

Harland and Wolff had buld the interior design of the ship and it took a lot of effort to buld a ship like Titanic. However lots of scenes was shot inside the studio in Mexico when Fox acquired 40 acres of water studio fro the shooting of the film.

The soundtrack song was sung by the Celine Dion “My Heart Will Go on” which also won a grammy award. The single was released in many versions and remixes. Titanic was the 100 most thrilling movies of all time. It was als the top 100 love story of America. It was also the 100 best films of the past century. It was also ranked as the sixt best epic film.
