PlayStation Video gaming console
PlayStation which also abbreviated PS is series of video game consoles created and developed by Japanese electronics company Sony Computer Entertainment. Plastation was first came into market with the launch of the original PlayStation console in 1994 from its country wide Japan release. There are four home consoles which Sony has already own where as well as a media center, an online service and a line of controllers with two handhelds and a phone. Sony its first launched of video gaming console, after sold more than 100 million units, 9 years and 6 months.
Evolution and Launch:
Second Playstation gaming console, the successor of pervious was released in 2000 , which was remained the best seller gamin console with over 155 million units sold till the last quarter of 2012 . playstation 3 was released in 2006 but unfortunately could not competitor its previous sale record , although it was remain successful along with other gaming consoles , playstation was only able to sold 80 million consoles worldwide till 2013. Sony after playstaion 3 , was released playstation 4 after discontinuation of previous version , it was the successor of playstation 3 year after its release it was sold out in 1 million consoles in its first 24 hours and became the fastest selling console in history
Portable PS:
Handheld gaming console or PlayStation Portable generally abbreviated as PSP is manufactured and marketed by Sony Computer Entertainment. Sony was started it development during the release of E3 in 2003, Sony launched its official preview on May 11, 2004, at press conference before E3 2004. It was released in Japan on December 12, 2004, in North America on March 24, 2005,and in the PAL region on September 1, 2005. It was distinguished to use an optical disc format, Universal Media Disc for distribution of its games while the UMD Video discs with movies and television shows were also released. PSP utilized the Sony SanDisk, Memory Stick Pro Duo format as its primary storage medium. Other distinguishing features of the console include its large viewing screen, multi-media capabilities, and connectivity with the PlayStation 3, other PSPs, and the Internet.
